WEB CDT Rome Colosseum Express Arena

The Colosseum, one of Rome’s most iconic ancient sights, is an imposing structure that transports you back to the height of the Roman Empire. On this fast-paced 1.5-hour Colosseum Express tour, your friendly, professional English-speaking guide will reveal the secrets of the gladiatorial games and the fascinating stories of the famous gladiators who thrilled the crowds. This part of the tour lasts roughly 45 minutes inside the Colosseum, followed by about 30 minutes of free time to explore on your own.

After a short break, we continue to Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome. Before the city became a metropolis, this central hill was home to one of seven villages where Emperor Romulus founded Rome nearly three thousand years ago. Today, Palatine Hill features ruins of imperial palaces and offers stunning panoramic views of the city.

The tour concludes at the Roman Forum, the political, social, and economic heart of Ancient Rome. Walk in the footsteps of emperors, explore the ruins, and imagine daily life in this vibrant center of ancient power.
